My mom and I went to New York City for my birthday and had a BLAST!!! Here are a couple of pictures to see some of the stuff we did - central park, The Met, The Statue of Liberty, shopping, Wicked, tasty food, ....... If you've never been you should definitely put it on your bucket list!! Thanks again mom, I had an amazing time!!!
I couldn't help but take a picture of this cute little place, there are loads of neat old buildings like this in the city!! (and if you know me you know I have more than a hundred pictures of random neat looking buildings, molding, and cornices ha ha)

Not too surprising that I liked the ballerina's : ) What is cool is that I got two Degas in the background by accident!!
A surprising favorite at the Met - the arms and armor were really cool! They had a full set of armor for a five year old!!

The Plaza Hotel - we wandered around and looked at all of the cool decorative features of this place, it was really beautiful!

Brunch at Tavern on the Green - the crowd was ridiculous!! but it was a cool building

Lady Liberty was pretty neat, we went past on a ferry to Staten Island which was fun
Downtown Manhattan as seen from the ferry - it really doesn't seem that big until you are standing in the middle of it all
