Wedding dress shopping

The girls are going to be in a wedding in a couple of weeks and today we went to pick out dresses. They had a lot of say in what they wanted to get as they were only given a color which was nice because they both got to pick out something that suited them and that they are comfortable in. The selection for junior bridesmaids dresses was limited so I was really happy that the only dress they had in the right color was the dress Jill had picked out online, whew! The only thing is that she is rather petite and it had to be taken in everywhere because we don't have time to order the next size down. But there was a seamstress on sight and she was able to do a dress fitting today so it worked out quite well and Jill's dress will fit and be ready on time : ) Gelsey of course found the fanciest, frilliest dress there was which had a pretty long train and was significantly beaded. We had to veto the dress just becuase of the train being soo long and it didn't bustle in anyway for the reception later so she opted for something a little simpler but I think it is fabulous and she seems to be very happy with it as well.

The Round Bed

Well we got Gelseys new round bed in her room tonight. It takes up much less space than we had anticipated and we were all a bit relieved! She has plenty of space to play still and also have a big fun bed : ) I think she is really happy she decided to put it in her room. Also, we are going to be going this week sometime to pick out fabric for a new bedspread. Her Ma'am is awesome and is going to make her a round blanket for the bed. I anticipate pinks and purples and loads of frilly girly fun which is just up her ally!

Webkinz CRAZE!!

We were soo happy to get all of these Webkinz. We got all of these Webkinz for special occasions. They are fun stuffed animals with W's on one of their paws. The Webkinz are all great friends.

Piercing

Well she finally did it, Jillian got her ears pierced! She did AWESOME!! She finally decided to get them pierced after a lot of debate about holding out for real diamond earrings but in the end she decided she would rather go ahead and do it. She opted on light sapphire earrings and they look lovely. Josh was able to capture the look of pain but there were absolutely no tears or even any whining. She did sooo good we all decided to go reward her with some Baskin Robbins.
