The Big Apple

My mom and I went to New York City for my birthday and had a BLAST!!! Here are a couple of pictures to see some of the stuff we did - central park, The Met, The Statue of Liberty, shopping, Wicked, tasty food, ....... If you've never been you should definitely put it on your bucket list!! Thanks again mom, I had an amazing time!!!

I couldn't help but take a picture of this cute little place, there are loads of neat old buildings like this in the city!! (and if you know me you know I have more than a hundred pictures of random neat looking buildings, molding, and cornices ha ha)

I forgot the real name of this, we'll just call it the Enchanted fountain
The "Mall" in central park
Not too surprising that I liked the ballerina's : ) What is cool is that I got two Degas in the background by accident!!
A surprising favorite at the Met - the arms and armor were really cool! They had a full set of armor for a five year old!!
Good old Pissarro
The Plaza Hotel - we wandered around and looked at all of the cool decorative features of this place, it was really beautiful!
In the park
Brunch at Tavern on the Green - the crowd was ridiculous!! but it was a cool building
A little B-day present for myself : )
Lady Liberty was pretty neat, we went past on a ferry to Staten Island which was fun
Downtown Manhattan as seen from the ferry - it really doesn't seem that big until you are standing in the middle of it all

Frank is a crawler

Frankie started crawling a couple of weeks ago and now he is EVERYWHERE!! He can pull himself up and walk around the furniture, it's a ton of fun at our house : ) I apologize for not posting this sooner, with Frank moving so much now he is way more work and I don't have as much time to do other things. I will post something that is higher quality when I have more discs for the camcorder (this was just taken with my camera so it's a little fuzzy).

D-backs

We went to another D-backs baseball game last weekend. They really stunk but we had fun anyway! Frank is almost too busy to go to a game but the girls are great helpers and together the four of us were able to keep him entertained : )

House tour

So one of my favorite things to do is drive around and look at fabulous houses. The girls of course hate this and so we usually don't do it much. While the girlies were gone Josh (being the fabulous husband that he is : )) took us down to the Biltmore area and Paradise Valley to look around and here are a couple of my favorites.

Lunch at the Wrigley Mansion

I am terribly behind on my blogging, but a couple of weeks ago, when the girls were in ABQ and it was just the three of us, we went to the Wrigley Mansion for lunch. I only have one picture of the house (a pic of a purple chandelier) that isn't blurry so most of these are of Frankie. He was just too cute, I had to take a ton of pictures because the lighting was just right!!

Murphys Formal Dinner

Ma'am custom made ball gowns for Jillian and Gelsey while they were away so we had to host a formal evening in order to take advantage of the additions to their wardrobe. Here are just a couple of pictures of what we did.
